Interactive 5E lesson plans intended for grades 10-11 English A or English Language classes using the CSEC (Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate). General Objective:
· Use various strategies to extract meaning from texts; e.g., previewing, paraphrasing, re-reading.
Specific Objectives:
1. After reading a passage, the student should be able to identify at least 3 major ideas in the text.
2. Given the text, the students should be able to summarize the text in no less than 120 words.
