Information Technology IT Lesson Plan - Email

An interactive 5E lesson plan with theory and practice of sending and receiving Email (Electronic mail) for a 50-minute class session. Suitable for use in Caribbean territories and can be readily adopted for secondary education students worldwide.

Learning objectives:

Students should be able to,

1.  Define email and name the 4 parts of an email address, with 100% accuracy, during video and lecture (Cognitive)

2.  Log into an existing email account and successfully send and receive an email (Psychomotor)

3.  Justify, with 2 points, the advantage of email over postal mail after group discussion (Affective)
